Pode ser um sinal de DTM, sigla para Disfun\u00e7\u00e3o Temporomandibular.<\/p><p>A DTM envolve problemas na articula\u00e7\u00e3o que liga o maxilar ao cr\u00e2nio (chamada de ATM) e tamb\u00e9m nos m\u00fasculos da face, pesco\u00e7o e cabe\u00e7a. Quando essa articula\u00e7\u00e3o est\u00e1 sobrecarregada, \u00e9 comum sentir dor, estalos, dificuldade para abrir a boca, dor de cabe\u00e7a e at\u00e9 zumbido no ouvido.<\/p><p>As causas podem estar em h\u00e1bitos do dia a dia, como ranger ou apertar os dentes (bruxismo), roer unhas, mascar chicletes por muito tempo, dormir sempre do mesmo lado ou de bru\u00e7os. O estresse e a qualidade ruim do sono tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o grandes influenciadores, porque impedem o relaxamento profundo dos m\u00fasculos, e isso piora ainda mais os sintomas, especialmente durante a noite.<\/p><p><br \/><br \/><\/p><p>Por isso, cuidar da higiene do sono \u00e9 um dos pilares no tratamento da DTM.<\/p><p><b>Higiene do sono: 12 atitudes que ajudam sua mand\u00edbula a relaxar<\/b><\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Mantenha hor\u00e1rios regulares<\/b> \u2013 Tente dormir e acordar sempre no mesmo hor\u00e1rio, inclusive aos finais de semana.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Evite telas antes de dormir<\/b> \u2013 Desconecte-se de celulares, computadores e TVs de 30 a 60 minutos antes de deitar.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Tome sol pela manh\u00e3<\/b> &#8211; A luz natural \u00e9 essencial para regular o rel\u00f3gio biol\u00f3gico (ritmo circadiano). Ao se expor ao sol por 15 a 30 minutos logo cedo, seu corpo aumenta naturalmente a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de cortisol, o horm\u00f4nio que te mant\u00e9m mais desperto e alerta durante o dia, e facilita a libera\u00e7\u00e3o de melatonina \u00e0 noite, o horm\u00f4nio que induz o sono<\/li><\/ol><p>\u00a0<\/p><ol><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Evite estimulantes ap\u00f3s o meio da tarde<\/b> \u2013 Reduza o consumo de cafe\u00edna, \u00e1lcool e nicotina nesse per\u00edodo do dia, pois eles aumentam o estado de alerta justamente quando o corpo precisa desacelerar. A cafe\u00edna, por exemplo, pode interferir no sono por at\u00e9 6 horas ap\u00f3s o consumo. J\u00e1 o \u00e1lcool, embora possa induzir o sono no in\u00edcio, compromete a qualidade das fases mais profundas, tornando o descanso menos reparador.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Use a cama apenas para dormir<\/b> \u2013 Evite comer, trabalhar ou assistir TV na cama, para que o c\u00e9rebro associe o ambiente ao sono.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Crie um ritual relaxante<\/b> \u2013 Um banho morno, uma leitura leve ou alguns minutos de respira\u00e7\u00e3o profunda ajudam a sinalizar ao corpo que \u00e9 hora de descansar.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Exercite-se (mas com hor\u00e1rio)<\/b> \u2013 A atividade f\u00edsica \u00e9 excelente, mas deve ser feita at\u00e9 o final da tarde. Evite treinar \u00e0 noite.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Evite cochilos longos ou tarde demais<\/b> \u2013 Cochile at\u00e9 30 minutos e nunca no fim do dia, para n\u00e3o atrapalhar o sono noturno.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Jante de forma leve<\/b> \u2013 Comidas pesadas \u00e0 noite dificultam o relaxamento. Prefira alimentos leves como banana, leite morno ou ch\u00e1s calmantes.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Prepare o ambiente<\/b> \u2013 Um quarto escuro, silencioso e com temperatura agrad\u00e1vel favorece um sono profundo. Se poss\u00edvel, use cortinas blackout.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Esvazie a mente<\/b> \u2013 Anote tarefas e preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es antes de deitar para n\u00e3o lev\u00e1-las para a cama.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Se n\u00e3o dormir, levante-se<\/b> \u2013 Se voc\u00ea n\u00e3o pegar no sono em at\u00e9 20 minutos, levante-se, fa\u00e7a algo relaxante e s\u00f3 volte \u00e0 cama quando sentir sono novamente.<br \/><br \/><\/li><\/ol><p>Quando tratamos a DTM, olhamos para o todo: h\u00e1bitos, rotina, alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o, estresse e sono. Cuidar do sono n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas dormir melhor,\u00a0 \u00e9 permitir que o corpo e a mente repousem, reduzindo tens\u00f5es acumuladas na face, na ATM e no corpo inteiro..
